Hey, uhm okay so: it’s been called the film that defines a generation and it’s an honour for me to be part of it. But beyond an account of the creation of the worldwide phenomenon known as Facebook is a film dealing with themes as old as story-telling itself - friendship, loyalty, trust, betrayal, power, ambition, greed, and the price of success. Inspirily- inspir- in- OKAY HERE WE GO. Inspiringly written by Aaron Sorkin - thank you, yes, thank you [everyone applauses] I appreciate the support of this room - and masterfully directed by David Fincher, this is The Social Network.
